#Review – Hotel Astoria in Prague

Last week, while I was in Prague, I stayed at the Astoria Hotel. Following some unplanned changes at the end of my stay (I had to extend it for one day and one night), I found myself in the urge to book a hotel for an additional night. I was very sad that I couldn’t extend it at the Astoria as I had the perfect stay there! On my last night, the hotel was fully booked – which is a great sign of success and quality! More than this, I eventually booked my additional night to the Kampa Hotel, and gosh it was so disappointing in every level compared to the wonderful Astoria.

Arriving to Dublin with my boyfriend, we started to wander into the irish city with its singing accent, its numerous pubs and shops and especially, its very welcoming people.
Here is the recap from this amazing week-end.

Discover the cutest village of Switzerland

  Article disponible en francais

On my trip to Switzerland, I discovered the cutest village ever: Gruyeres. As its name shows, this place is famous for cheese making, but not only. It also has a majestic castle, overlooking all the medieval village, and more museums. Located 1h25-drive from Geneva, I 100% recommend you a visit to this cute place if you’re around; you will feel disconnected from the world. All you can see is nature, mountains, grass and cows. It feels amazing to reconnect (even for just a few hours) to this living world.

How to order cheap (but secure) flight tickets

  Article disponible en francais

We all want to travel the world; take a flight and go on vacation in some paradise beaches, explore big cities and exotic places. It sounds like a dream, isn’t it? But eventually, it all comes to one end: how can we manage and afford ourselves to go on vacation when we have a limited budget?

Well of course, any vacation comes at a cost. If you can manage to easily limit your budget when it comes to hotel bookings (opting for a bed & breakfast won’t cost you the same than a 5* hotel), you don’t seem to have the same flexibility when it comes to flight tickets. But you can try to limit this cost, and here’s how.

5 things to do in Venice, Italy

December 2013, Venice, Italy.
Beyond magical.

I know what some of you might say: is there any city more “cliché” than Venice ? Well, actually, you have to experience the beauty of Venice and its special atmosphere at least once in your life.
Venice is quite small; a long week-end is enough to see what there is to see. But you can’t help feeling the magical place and romantic atmosphere around you. Here are my 5 tips to get to know Venice better.

The best coffee houses in Vienna

Vienna is certainly famous for its coffee houses and the atmosphere that you get while sitting in one of them.  At the time, there was a real “café culture” that we somehow lost. Politicians, authors, journalists were coming in cafes to discuss and debate about political and life issues.

Even today, this is not just about sipping your hot chocolate; there is an Austrian life/heritage that you feel while entering into these coffee houses. I made a list of some of my favorite coffee shops of the Austrian capital. All of them are obviously legendary and here’s why.

#HotelReview – Soleil Boutique Hotel in Eilat

It is no secret that I love traveling to Eilat. I can’t count how many times I’ve been there already, and still, I feel like I will never have enough of this place. Each time I came though, I stayed at different hotels. Last ones were the Royal Garden Hotel and the Herods Vitalis.

This time, I chose to stay at Soleil Boutique Hotel, a real cute hotel that will charm everyone. As its name mentions, it is a boutique hotel very different from the big hotels I’ve been used to stay at when coming here. Although I didn’t really know what to expect. I have been charmed all the way and I will explain you why.

A week-end trip in the South of France

We decided to travel and discover Avignon city and its region; therefore, I organized our road trip all around it. Starting our road trip from Toulon, we first stopped in Arles, before continuing our road until the beautiful Camargue. We spent the night 25km away from Nimes, in a perfect guest hotel in Remoulins medieval village. The following day, we went to visit the Pont du Gard (the Gard’s Bridge that was built under Roman Empire) and we finally continued our road until Avignon. Overall, we made 300 km in 2 days and enjoyed seeing different landscapes and visiting famous monuments of the region.
