    Throwing back: 2018

2018 was the year of ultimate happiness, discovery and enrichment. It has gone at a blazing speed, like all those moments that we love and are going far too fast. We are already here in 2019, so this is an opportunity to look back on this year. February 2018 – Berlin/Potsdam To celebrate our 3 year-anniversary, we decided with my husband to give us a few days of vacation and to leave to discover the German capital. To discover our escapade, it’s here. We enjoyed a lot and we had a lot of fun, but as I  wrote it in other articles, this was not my favorite destination. March 2018…

    A week-end in Paris – Day 1

In March 2018, I was able to give myself a short stay in Paris (combining work and personal visits). This was of course not the first time I came to Paris, but I still take so much pleasure to come back to discover this city that never ceases to amaze me. Here is a little guide of ideas on what to do and what to visit, divided in 2 days. It is far from being complete – but at the same time, what do you really have time to discover in such a short time? Here is the summary of my (very) short weekend alongside with my best friend. Visit the breathtaking Villa Rothschild, France

Can you believe I’m living 2 hours away from this Villa Rothschild wonder and I never visited it ? Well, it took me 24 years before going. Still, how could I miss for so long this beautiful place? I think that you need to travel abroad to realize that home is just as beautiful as the rest of the world. Located in St Jean Cap Ferrat on the French Riviera, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild can be visited all year long. And let me tell you that it worth the trip: between the fabulous gardens to the collecting art inside, you’ll be amazed during the whole tour.

A week-end trip in the South of France

We decided to travel and discover Avignon city and its region; therefore, I organized our road trip all around it. Starting our road trip from Toulon, we first stopped in Arles, before continuing our road until the beautiful Camargue. We spent the night 25km away from Nimes, in a perfect guest hotel in Remoulins medieval village. The following day, we went to visit the Pont du Gard (the Gard’s Bridge that was built under Roman Empire) and we finally continued our road until Avignon. Overall, we made 300 km in 2 days and enjoyed seeing different landscapes and visiting famous monuments of the region.
